The 3M ™ Cubitron ™ II Grinding Belts 947A are characterised by the familiar longevity and speed of the 3M ™ Cubitron ™ II products. They produce a uniform microsection without tarnish. The new grain mix on an X-fabric pad makes this tape more flexible than previous 3M ™ Cubitron ™ II sanding belts. They are especially suitable for hand-operated machines at medium to low pressure.
3M ™ Cubitron ™ II Sanding Belt 947A has a slightly lighter X-pad backing and is therefore ideal for edge and light weld finishing. The proportion of 3M precision-formed ceramic grain (grain triangles) contributes significantly to the performance of the abrasive belt. The grain triangles keep their sharp grain cutting during the grinding process. These process the surface of the workpiece continuously clean. The result is a quick, cool finish and extended life of the abrasive.
