The Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design allows for no contact with the filter media during cartridge change-out.

The 3M™ High Flow Series System for Ice Applications, Model ICE140-S provides consistent high quality water by reducing particulate, chlorine taste and odour, cyst, bacteria, and scale. Built-in scale inhibition can help to prevent the potentially harmful effects of scale build-up on equipment. Excess particulate can clog distribution tubes and solenoid valves, while excess chlorine residual can cause chlorine smell and corrosion in ice bins. Integrated Membrane Pre-Activated Carbon Technology (I.M.P.A.C.T.) filtration media combines a membrane with a premium activated carbon block to help provide excellent throughput and cartridge life. Our Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated cartridge design allows for fast and easy cartridge change-outs without the need for a filter wrench. This system features a valve-in-head design and is made for use in ice applications involving commercial cubers up to 1,000 lbs. (453.6 kg.) and commercial flakers up to 1,800 lbs. (816.5 kg.)
